The Role

We are recruiting a Chef de Partie to join our kitchen brigade. The role is a full-time position working 41.5 hours per week, and 5 days out of 7 including evenings, weekends and public holidays (one weekend in three) with last orders are at 9.30 pm, the Club closes for three weeks in August and a full week at Christmas.  The work pattern is 1 weekend in 4 usually.

The Package is up to £34K

The Club

The Club is an exclusive private members Club with a Grade II*-listed Clubhouse in central London. The Club has 46 bedrooms, a fine dining restaurant, 3 banqueting suites, 2 bars, 2 squash courts, a billiards room and extensive libraries.  The Club has nearly 5000 members.

The Person

We are looking for someone who is highly personable, passionate about delivering five-star service and thrives in a busy working environment where no two shifts are ever the same. Applicants will need to demonstrate:

  • Good attention to details
  • High standard of food preparation
  • Previous experience as Chef de Partie

Main Duties

  • Run and supervise any kitchen section to the required standards set by the Executive Head Chef
  • Ensure all preparation of the designated section is complete and ready for each service
  • Be responsible for the quality control of stock and prepared food
  • Support sous chefs in delivering the required standard of food
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations
