Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our culinary team to deliver high-quality food and service.
  • Ensure consistency and timing standards while following recipes.
  • Expand your culinary skills to elevate team performance.
  • Oversee a kitchen section during daily service (rotating for personal development).
  • Prepare and cook specific portions of plated meals.
  • Assist with food preparation, marinating, cutting, and pre-cooking.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in your designated section.
  • Support fellow chefs and apprentices, delegating tasks as needed.
  • Execute cooking quickly and efficiently to our high standards.
  • Actively seek improvement and advancement in your skills and performance.


  • Competitive Salary: £28,000 – £32,000.
  • Medical insurance after 1 year of service.
  • Complimentary meals while on duty.
  • 22 days of annual leave (excluding bank holidays).
  • Approximately 10 days off during the Christmas period (closed from December 23rd to January 3rd).

Working Hours:

  • Earliest: 6:00 AM (on rare occasions when covering breaks), otherwise 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM.
  • Latest: 10:00 PM (extended to 10:30 PM for final desserts).
  • Full-Time: Permanent, 40 hours per week.
  • Work Days: 5 days a week, Monday to Sunday. 

Requirements and Skills:

  • Prior experience in high-end hotels, restaurants, or high-volume establishments.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of health & safety and food safety standards.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and multitask effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to delegate multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Stay current with food and beverage trends and best practices.
