We are currently seeking a skilled Executive Head Chef to lead our culinary team at a prestigious boarding school in CR3. With a large student population of 900 and a focus on delivering high-end brasserie-style cuisine, this role offers a unique and rewarding experience.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the kitchen operation and ensure the delivery of high-quality meals for our boarding school students, staff, and visitors.
- Create and execute menus that meet the high standards of our institution, incorporating innovative and creative brasserie-style dishes.
- Lead and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless operations.
- Conduct tastings and menu planning for special events, including weddings held on campus.
- Collaborate with the catering team to ensure efficient food production, portion control, and waste management.
- Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations, as well as food hygiene standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Head Chef or similar role, preferably in a high-volume catering environment.
- Strong culinary skills with expertise in delivering high-end brasserie-style food.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with staff, students, and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage a large kitchen team, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining high standards.
- Flexibility to work during special events and weekends as required.
