B&I Catering
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen by regularly cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, equipment, and utensils.
- Support the kitchen staff in food preparation activities, such as washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning ingredients.
- Help with the organization and storage of ingredients, ensuring proper labeling and rotation of stock
- Assist in inventory management, conducting regular stock checks, and notifying the supervisor of any shortages or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service by assisting in plating and garnishing dishes.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations, ensuring a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.
- Follow instructions from the kitchen staff and communicate any challenges or concerns effectively.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn from the kitchen staff.
