Position: Senior Sous Chef
Closest Tube Station: Bank Station
Contract: Full-Time (45 hours per week)
Working Hours: Primarily Monday to Friday – Between 7am to 8pm
Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Are a renowned establishment in Central London known for their dedication to culinary excellence. Our client is the location of the City of London’s most formal official functions, including two annual white tie dinners.
- Assist the Head Chef in the daily operation of the kitchen.
- Contribute to menu development, emphasizing British Modern and European Modern cuisine.
- Ensure consistent preparation and presentation of dishes.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, maintaining a positive and productive working environment.
- Take responsibility for stock control, ordering, and maintaining kitchen equipment.
- Execute culinary creations for banqueting events, ranging from intimate gatherings to large-scale functions (10 to 900 covers).
- Proven experience as a Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume, high-quality kitchen.
- Proficiency in British Modern and European Modern cuisine.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a passion for culinary excellence.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Food safety and hygiene certification.
